Gener8 Leadership Team

Our executive team brings decades of leadership and expertise in global business, leading technologies, design innovation, and superior development strategies to ensure the success of our customers.

David Klein

Founder

Dave Klein founded Gener8 in 2002. Dave is involved at all stages of Gener8’s customer engagement and pulls from his deep experience in electromechanical development and vast medical, biotech, and industrial market knowledge. With this background, he advises clients on solid technology strategies while also assuring that their needs are met throughout development, manufacturing, and beyond.

Before launching Gener8, he held leadership roles at HDI Instrumentation, and Gemfire Corporation. Dave earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from the University of Arizona and a Ph.D. in physics from the University of California, Berkeley. Dave’s life philosophy to always consider himself a craftsman never a master craftsman as “it is an ideal that cannot be reached” rings through in his personal life as well as business life.

He has progressed through his aviation hobby going “from model planes as a kid, to hang gliders since I was in grad school, to small airplanes (and hang gliders today).” We’re all very curious to learn what comes after small planes.
